A gathering of more than 100 women in Pakur highlighted the social and economic challenges women continue to face.

The event was organized by Active Citizens South Sudan with support from Norwegian People’s Aid as part of activities marking International Women’s Day.

Speakers said the day served as a reminder of the need for stronger collaboration among communities, government institutions, and development partners to support women’s empowerment.
