As the conflict unfolds, attention is increasingly shifting to the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most important النفط shipping routes.
Iran’s continued influence over the strait has raised fears of disruptions to global oil supplies, pushing prices above $100 per barrel. The narrow waterway handles a significant portion of the world’s النفط exports, making it a critical chokepoint.
In response, U.S. forces have stepped up operations aimed at securing the area. Military aircraft, including Apache helicopters and A-10 warplanes, are reportedly targeting Iranian drones and fast attack boats.
The goal is to ensure safe passage for commercial shipping and prevent further escalation in global energy markets.
However, military experts caution that clearing the area of threats could take weeks, and even then, risks would remain. A single successful strike on a tanker or warship could have far-reaching consequences.
